How do I book a jet ski rental?

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3-5 days in advance. Weekend and sunset slots fill quickly, especially in summer. For groups, book at least 2 weeks ahead.

Can I walk in without a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome if availability allows, but we cannot guarantee a slot. Booking online is always the safest way to secure your time on the water.

Yes, a $100 security deposit is collected at the time of your ride (cash or check only please) and refunded after the ride.

We'll meet you at the Saint Jean Public Boat Launch at 150 Saint Jean St, Detroit at least 15 minutes before your ride time.

Operators must be 18 years or older and present a valid government-issued ID. Passengers must be at least 9 years old. There is no height limit.

What should I wear?

Wear swim-friendly clothing and closed-toe shoes. Avoid flip-flops, loose clothing, and anything you'd hate getting wet. Sunscreen is strongly recommended.

Are there sharks in the Detroit River?

No, there are no sharks! The Detroit River is entirely fresh water.

Do you provide safety gear?

Yes — all safety gear is included. This includes a Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device (life jacket), a whistle, and a jet ski kill switch lanyard in case you fall off.

Our team covers machine operation, throttle control, right-of-way rules, emergency stops, hand signals, return procedures, and what to do if you fall off.

What if I fall off the jet ski?

The Sea-Doo's engine will immediately be turned off when the safety lanyard is pulled.  Our team is always nearby. We'll walk you through the man-overboard procedures in the briefing.

Yes. We'll designate your riding area during the briefing. We stay within safe zones appropriate for all skill levels.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Your safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe (high winds, lightning, dangerous water), we'll contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations or rebookings made 24 hours or more before your ride are completely free, including for bad weather. Changes made within 24 hours are subject to a $25 cancellation or rebooking fee.

What should I bring to my rental?

Valid government-issued ID, sunscreen, sunglasses (with retention strap), a change of clothes, and a great attitude. Leave your phone in a waterproof case or leave it in your vehicle.
